And Jesus said to him,

Do you want to
be made well?

John 5:6

THE MADEWELL HEARTBEAT

We're on a mission

to see image bearers made well through God's restorative design.

It is our passionate belief that God’s word proclaims that we are indeed made well. As we search the scripture, we are unable to separate the physical from the spiritual and have found ourselves drawn deeper into God’s heart for us through the example of His son.

"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.

"For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him, if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven[…]”

Colossians 1:15-23a

Who We Are.

We are simply followers of Jesus Christ who believe that there are many ways in many places through which God wants to teach, share, grow and show us, His beloved children, His character and His love through the complexity, beauty, and bounty of creation. To that end, we feel called to serve the Lord and the body of Christ by developing a regenerative permaculture farmstead-based ministry from which to display the glory of the master maker.

Steele and Natalie met as cadets at West Point and married shortly after graduation, commissioning and heading off to Fairbanks, Alaska. There they met Mike and Tarah Hoxsie through their local military bible study and the dreaming began. God directed the Sessions out of the Army to Manns Choice, Pennsylvania where they spent two years serving as the youth programs managers for a Christian retreat and conference center and now lead MadeWell Ministries. Their passions are Christ, who holds all things together, their growing family, bare feet, nutrition, regenerative farming, natural movement, and authentic community.
